Rome-based DJ and producer Amanda Lean is an established figure in the capital’s electronic music and club culture scene. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with prominent artists from the Italian scene, developing an open-minded, cross-genre musical vision. Also known for his radio projects and numerous B2B sets within the underground circuit, he moves naturally across different styles and sonic territories. His musical research is rooted in soul, funk and hip-hop, influences that add depth to the tight, dynamic groove of his sets. His ability to blend House, Techno, Electro and other electronic influences results in an engaging, refined and forward-thinking sound. Among his most significant projects is Deep ’n Dance, a multidisciplinary collective founded in East Rome in 2019 together with Not4Climbing. Through a series of events and performances across numerous clubs in the city, the collective has established itself as a key presence in Rome’s independent scene, earning a reputation for eclectic, unpredictable sets that break down the boundaries between musical genres.
